I discovered
Musique Concrete in the
mid 1980s listening to
university radio stations.
I eventually volunteered at
The Music Factory in
downtown Toronto where
my musical interests
were greatly expanded.
By 1996 I had completed
my first CD length project.
Surrealist Soundscapes.
One of my favorite
musical experiences
is Free Jazz or
Improvisational Jazz.
Absinthe - Conspicuous
Consumption was
created in
Victoria, BC in 1998
with multi-instrumentalist
Kevin Leitch.
We miss you brother,

The opportunity to
get my hands on
a modular synthesizer
gave a new life to
some old files in a completely new project.
Incorporating elements from
projects that were
worked on, (off and on),
for years makes this
album all the more
surreal for me.
