I discovered
Musique Concrete in the
mid 1980s listening to
university radio stations.
I eventually volunteered at
The Music Factory in
downtown Toronto where
my musical interests
were greatly expanded.
By 1996 I had completed
my first CD length project.
Surrealist Soundscapes.
One of my favorite
musical experiences
is Free Jazz or
Improvisational Jazz.
Absinthe - Conspicuous
Consumption was
created in
Victoria, BC in 1998
with multi-instrumentalist
Kevin Leitch.
We miss you brother,

Every morning I have coffee
with our Cat, Ota.
She purrs softly in my lap
as I greet the day slowly.
I recorded her self satisfied musings and converted the audio files to
midi data files and proceeded to assign virtual instruments
to the midi data.
The resulting multi-track audio
files surprised the expletive right
out of me.
